ACRYLIC SQUARES. ‘Year of the Dragon’. Double, Red. ACSDRAR4

$28.00

Celebrate the mighty Dragon roaring into 2024 with our unique ‘Year of the Dragon’ acrylic squares. In the Chinese zodiac, the mystical Dragon symbolises power, strength, vitality and leadership.

We took this photographs of these striking Dragons on the ancient entrance doors of a Chinese temple, where they had clearly been protecting the temple and all its worshippers from bad spirits and misfortune, bringing them only good luck and blessings instead.

Our acrylic squares are perfect as a commemorative souvenir of the auspicious Year of the Dragon, as a thoughtful gift to a Dragon friend (all those born in 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, 1964, 1952), or as a Singapore souvenir of the festive Chinese New Year celebrations here. If you want a novel local gift when visiting family and friends, in addition to from the usual ‘hong baos’ (red packets), this is it!

They’ll also add a touch of Asian pizzazz to your home and table this CNY. Use them as placemats or trivets – although we recommend not placing anything straight from the oven on them, like a baking tray or casserole dish. Or you can display them as a decorative piece on a dresser or side table- they’re bound to start a conversation!
